UPS shipping application set for iPhone

Reandevou Software today announced the first UPS shipping application for the iPhone. The company  previewed UPS Workbench, which enables users to track packages, view rates, determine shipping options and find UPS stores anywhere in the world using the iPhone's GPS capabilities.

“We're excited about creating an application that benefits UPS and its consumers,” said Troy Simon, Reandevou CEO. “We wanted to bring an application that the world could use on the iPhone.”

The current release of the product is targeted to the consumer, but the company said it has plans on making the iPhone and UPS Workbench into solutions for business as well. UPS Workbench is slated to go on sale in the iTunes App Store this month, according to the company.
