Union Says Danner Press Looking for Buyer
Union officials at the Danner Press printing plant in Canton, OH, said yesterday that the facility is expected to close in February unless a buyer can be found.The plant employs approximately 350 people, including 300 union employees.
Officials at Danner Press could not be reached for comment.
The company prints catalogs, magazines and educational material and has been in business for more than 50 years.
Danner Press is owned by Austin-based Hess Management Co. The company has 13 offices in California, Connecticut, Georgia, Illinois, Ohio, Minnesota, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina and Texas.
