Twitter is Best Buy job requirement

Want to work as the Senior Manager of Emerging Media Marketing at Best Buy? Better have some Twitter experience. The new job posting requires that candidates be experienced in this trendy online media, along with and at least 250 followers. Experience in Twitter makes a lot of sense, because if you've never even tried the most talked about emerging media, then maybe you're not right to work in "Emerging Media Marketing." Still the required followers, rather than the ability to use actively, seems a bit silly. Paul McNamara at Network World takes issue here:
