TrueAdvantage Looks to Deliver Qualified Leads with New System

TrueAdvantage Inc. is expected to debut its TrueAdvantage 4.0 lead generation system today.

The subscription-based solution from the Southborough, MA-company uses TrueAdvantage's SmartTrigger technology that scans 20,000 sources of business information and the Internet through 150 categories of "trigger events," which are business events that typically indicate a high propensity to buy.

Each categorized event is linked to a specific company record to produce SmartTriggers. Using the criteria set by a salesperson, TrueAdvantage delivers relevant leads via the preferred delivery method.

"If one of our clients is a security provider, such as ADT, they care about businesses that are relocating and they care about businesses that are building new facilities," said Joe Petro, vice president of development and operations, TrueAdvantage. "So when they get lead, it may be an announcement that a company is building a new 100,000 square foot facility in the Boston area, and that is key to their seeing that as a high propensity to buy opportunity."

Other events could be management changes or m ergers and acquisition news.
