True North Snares 3 Assignments

Hachette Filipacchi Magazines, Pitney Bowes and Thorn Communications tapped direct marketing agency True North Inc., New York, for more assignments.

The agency will handle e-mail renewal programs for four more Hachette titles. True North created the first e-mail renewal programs for the French-owned publisher's Car & Driver and Woman's Day magazines.

Similar programs are being developed for Road & Track, Popular Photography, Cycle World and Sound & Vision using The True North E-mail System.

Pitney Bowes awarded more interactive duties to True North. These include online ads and e-mail marketing for its small-business postage meters unit. True North will continue to work with Pitney Bowes on direct mail, print and alternative media acquisition programs.

A rapidly expanding Thorn Communications asked True North to redesign its Web site and produce marketing and collateral materials.
