Trip.com Rolls Out $40M Campaign for Redesigned Site

Trip.com launched a redesigned version of its Web site yesterday along with a $40 million mutli-media national advertising campaign.

The campaign, created by Grey Advertising, NY, will feature television, radio, print, and online ads with the slogan "There's Only One You." According to Trip Network, Parsippany, NJ, the efforts will highlight Trip.com's ability to connect with individual users by providing a number of product offerings and personalized results based on specific budgets, schedules, and interests.

Trip.com will use the campaign to position itself as a full-service leisure travel Web site. Among the site's new features are 24-hour access to live travel professionals and improved search and book options that match travelers' specifications for a preferred airline, class of service, seat preference and other options.

Consumers can also search without registering and will be able to modify their search without repeating the entire process.
