Travelocity to Offer Disney Packages

As it tries to expand its revenue stream and broaden an ongoing merchant program, online travel agency Travelocity.com said yesterday that it had signed a deal to package Walt Disney World Parks and Resorts on its Web site.

Disney theme park and hotel room inventory will be sold under the Travelocity Vacations brand.

The deal, which debuts this quarter, calls for land-only and air-inclusive vacation packages for Disney's theme parks in Orlando, FL. During the year, Disneyland Resort packages will be added to Travelocity Vacations' California product offerings.

Disney packages can be bought online at Travelocity.com or by telephone.

Travelocity.com, Fort Worth, TX, will market Disney packages to its more than 32 million members.
