TransWorks Installs E-Mail System at India Contact Center

CRM technology firm eGain Communications has implemented a new e-mail management system for customer contact provider TransWorks at its contact center in Pune, India, eGain said yesterday.


TransWorks will use eGain Mail for e-mail routing, tracking and automated response. The financial value of the contract was not disclosed.


The e-mail management system can process up to 20,000 e-mails per hour, according to eGain, Sunnyvale, CA. Other eGain clients include Vodafone, DaimlerChrysler and ABN AMRO Bank.


TransWorks, which is based in Mumbai, India, provides inbound customer support, including voice, e-mail and Web chat, as well as outbound telemarketing. The company has clients in the United States, United Kingdom and the Asia Pacific region.
