Transcontinental Finishes DM Plant Consolidation

Transcontinental completed the consolidation of its direct marketing print activities, carried out under three individual operations, into one brand, Transcontinental Direct, the company said yesterday.

The three operations formerly were known as Yorkville Printing in Toronto, Interglobe Montreal and Spectra Graphics in Warminster, PA. Each plant can fulfill all DM printing needs including pre-press, printing, inkjet and laser personalization, in-line and offline finishing, bindery and lettershop, according to Transcontinental, Toronto.

Transcontinental Direct will use total project management and apply creative engineering to the front end of every project, the company said.
