Transcontinental Expanding DM Plant

Transcontinental CC3 will expand production operations at its direct mail plant in Warminster, PA, to 356,000 square feet, the company said Friday.

The expansion represents a 151,000-square-foot increase in floor space at the plant, which opened in November 2002. When the expansion is completed, the plant will include three facilities: a direct mail production facility; a technology complex for database operations, Web development technologies and a customer interaction center; and a facility housing fulfillment operations and Transcontinental CC3's Mail-Gard division.

Mail-Gard is a print-to-mail recovery provider. Mail-Gard last week announced the launch of an online tool to help companies assess preparedness and financial risks relative to disruptions in their print-to-mail operations.
