Transcontinental CC3 Plans New Texas Plant

Direct marketing services provider Transcontinental CC3 will open a facility in Fort Worth, TX, in October to complement its Dallas-based operations, the company said yesterday.

The new site will increase the capacity of Transcontinental CC3's central U.S. operations by "several million" mail pieces monthly. The plant will have full-service litho printing, perfect bindery capabilities and advanced fulfillment operations.

Transcontinental CC3, Warminster, PA, has a multi-year lease on the facility. The company plans to add new personnel in the next 60 days, though it did not specify a total.

The expansion follows the completion of Transcontinental CC3's integration with its parent company, Transcontinental Inc., Montreal. Transcontinental acquired CC3 in December 2003, renaming it Transcontinental CC3.
