Transcontinental CC3 Installs Kodak Printing System

Direct marketing production firm Transcontinental CC3 said yesterday that it installed the Kodak Versamark VX5000 Printing System for integrated digital printing.


Terms of the deal were not disclosed. Transcontinental CC3, Warminster, PA, said it was the first direct marketing service provider to offer the system to marketers.


The VX5000 has a capacity of 1 million impressions per day and can produce 100 percent variable data in black, highlight color and process color. Transcontinental CC3 will use the system to blend litho printing and personalization.


Kodak Versamark, Dayton, OH, is part of Kodak's Graphic Communications Group.
