Trans World, Wet Sea Join Forces

TWEC.COM (Trans World Entertainment Corp.), Albany, NY, an online retailer of entertainment products, announced a marketing partnership last week with The Wet Seal, Foothill Ranch, NJ, and its online site, blueasphalt.com. The two will be marketing to the other's customer e-mail lists, which are going to be gathered from both online and offline promotions taking place in the Trans World and Wet Seal retail locations and on their Web sites.

Under the terms of the agreement, both companies will cross-market on each other's Web sites as well as in the brick-and-mortar stores. Both sites will display banner ads containing links to the other site. The Wet Seal, a specialty retailer of fashionable and contemporary apparel and accessories, is the parent company of Contempo Casuals.
