TPG Buys Remaining Shares of DM Company

Dutch postal and logistics company TPG N.V. said last week that it acquired the remaining 40 percent share in direct marketing company Dimar Group, through TPG Post subsidiary Cendris.


Dimar is a leading provider of full-service direct marketing in the Czech Republic and Slovakia. TPG had acquired a 60 percent stake in Dimar in 2002.


Dimar offers services in customer relationship management, database management, consumer and business information, printing, creative design and call centers. It has revenue of $11.5 million and 160 employees.


With a staff of 4,000, Cendris offers specialized solutions for direct communication, data and document management in the Benelux countries, United Kingdom, Italy, Germany and central Europe.


TPG N.V., with its two brands -- TNT and TPG Post, is a global provider of mail, express and logistics services. The group employs 161,000 people in 62 countries.
