Total Mailing System, JCI Unit Merge
Jim Capanna, owner of JMC Direct, Turnersville, NJ, announced the merger of The Total Mailing System with the direct marketing and fulfillment division of JCI Data Processing.Financial details were not disclosed.
Robert Powell will remain president-owner of The Total Mailing System, West Deptford, NJ, while Capanna will serve as director of business development. In January, Capanna bought the DM division of JCI Data Processing, Cinnaminson, NJ. The Total Mailing System's service capabilities will be able to fulfill JCI's direct marketing production needs, he said.
The Total Mailing System has operated without a marketing or sales force for 20 years under Powell. The Total Mailing System recently moved to a new facility and purchased property in anticipation of expansion.
