TLP Wins American Airlines, Fetzer Vineyards

TLP Inc., a full-service advertising and marketing communications company, announced this week that it was named agency of record for American Airlines, Fort Worth, TX, and Fetzer Vineyards, Hopland, CA.

Combined annual billings for both accounts were estimated at $12 million.

TLP, the marketing and promotional communications arm of Omnicom's Diversified Agency Services division, New York, is taking responsibility for both clients' national marketing promotions and targeted collateral advertising assignments.

Gary VonKennel, president of TLP since last July, said the addition of the two new accounts would bring excitement and new energy to the agency and that their choice of TLP reflected a confidence about TLP's creative and strategic capabilities.

"What these wins demonstrate is that our clients are abundantly confident in the creativity, resources and leadership of TLP," VonKennel said.

But in order to meet the demands the business will place on the agency, Sandi Means, TLP's chief operations officer, said the agency would fortify all its departments as it gears up to accommodate the addition of the new clients. "There will be tremendous opportunity for career growth at all levels of the organization [and we are] looking to complement our already established base of dynamic and talented thought-leaders with new employees," she said.

TLP maintains offices in Dallas and Wilton, CT, as well as 31 U.S. satellite offices and some 35 affiliate agencies worldwide. With capitalized billings in excess of $420 million, the agency's other clients include ADVO, Harrah's Casinos and Pizza Hut.
