AOL Time Warner, H&R Block in Marketing Deal

H&R Block Inc. yesterday announced a multi-year alliance with AOL Time Warner to market products and services across their respective properties.


According to the deal, Block is now the preferred tax services provider for America Online brands. Block will debut marketing on AOL Time Warner's online, broadcast and print media, including Time Warner Cable, TNT, CNN, Time Inc. magazines, People.com and TVGuide.com.


Block also becomes the exclusive provider of tax preparation services within the tax centers of AOL, CompuServe, Netscape.com, Money.com, AOL.com and AOL's Digital City.


In addition, AOL Time Warner will offer Block's tax services at special rates to its employees.


For its part, Block will offer the AOL Internet service to its local tax office clients.
