Three Banks Partner With Escout.com

Escout.com, a Web-based services firm targeted at banks, recently announced deals with three regional banking firms -- Illinois-based Harris Bank, Southwest Bank of Texas and the Bank of Hawaii.


Escout, Lee's Summit, MO, allows banks to offer online third-party services to their business account customers. EBiz Software, Gateway Inc. and Sprint Communications are examples of companies that have contracted to offer their products and services at www.escout.com.


Banks must be in good financial standing to sign alliances with Escout, according to a spokeswoman for the firm. The company has numerous partners with more than 1,200 branch locations combined.


Financial terms of the agreements were not disclosed.
