Thompson Catalog Uses VendorNet for Automated Order Fulfillment

The Thompson Catalog Group, owner of linensource, Casual Living USA and mail-order cigar firm Thompson Cigar, selected the VendorNet Commerce Suite to automate and manage its dropship and stock purchase order process, the company said yesterday.

The 89-year-old cataloger already is using VendorNet Dropship Manager with 25 of its biggest suppliers. The company said it plans to streamline its bulk inventory processes using VendorNet Stock PO Manager by January. Thompson will eventually fully automate its dropship and inventory orders with more than 200 suppliers.

VendorNet Dropship and Stock PO Manager are part of Delray Beach, FL-based VendorNet's suite of supply chain collaboration products. Using a Web-based platform, VendorNet products integrate retailers and suppliers for real-time communication of order, fulfillment, shipping and invoicing information.
