TheStreet.com, FirstUSA Partner in Marketing Pact

TheStreet.com, a financial and investment oriented news wire has agreed a multi-year marketing arrangement with First USA, one of the major issuers of Visa credit cards in the country.


Under the terms of the contract, announced yesterday, First USA will get to pitch TheStreet.com readers with credit card products through a combination of direct marketing programs, while TheStreet.com will tap into First USA's cardholder list to mine for subscription prospects.


Free-trial members of TheStreet.com will receive an e-mail offering an incentive to apply for a credit card. TheStreet.com will have First USA banners and tiles on the site, promoting the credit card.
