The Container Store Taps CheetahMail for Deployment, Tracking

The Container Store named CheetahMail Inc. as its e-mail marketing company.


The multichannel retailer charged CheetahMail with delivering rich-text messages to the Container Store online customer list. CheetahMail, New York, also will handle tracking and reporting of such e-mail campaigns.


The Container Store, Dallas, has 28 stores nationwide, ranging from 22,000 square feet to 29,000. An average store stocks 10,000 products, organized in sections like closet, office, laundry and kitchen. The 25-year-old company also sells by catalog and at www.thecontainerstore.com.


Separately, CheetahMail also was named e-mail marketing company by apparel retailer Brooks Brothers and Peet's Coffee and Tea, a coffee and tea seller. CheetahMail will deploy, track and report e-mails to their databases.
