Teradata's Touchpoint Server Links CRM Channels

Teradata, an analytical solutions provider that is a division of NCR Corp., said yesterday it would introduce Touchpoint Server as part of its customer relationship management application suite.

TPS will link marketing communications with call centers, Web sites, automated teller machines, Web kiosks and other customer interaction channels in near-real time, Teradata said.

Teradata, Dayton, OH, said it would be available early in the second quarter.

A consumer shopping for a home loan, for example, might do research at his bank's Web site. The next time that consumer went to an ATM, there would be a special offer based on his credit rating and value to the bank. When the customer logged onto the Web site, the same special offer would appear on a personal Web page.
