Television.com Takes I-TV to the PC

Television.com, Los Angeles, CA, formed an alliance yesterday with InfoSpace to develop a site that will allow people with a PC tuner card to experience interactive television through their PCs.

"This alliance gives us incredible ability to scale upward. I'm comfortable that, with InfoSpace services, we can easily grow to 10 [million], 20 [million] or even 30 million regular users," said Kiran Rao, vice president of technical development at television.com, in a statement.

At the site, people will be able to watch regular television while also having access to listings, detailed information, chat and e-commerce applications.
