TeleSpectrum to Acquire Customer Insites, Form New Division

Outsourced teleservices provider Telespectrum Worldwide Inc., King of Prussia, PA, said yesterday it has agreed to acquire Customer Insites Inc., a Silver Spring, MD, company that measures Web customers' satisfaction. TeleSpectrum plans to combine it with its existing customer satisfaction unit, Tarp, to form E-Satisfy.com. The financial terms of the acquisition were not disclosed.


TeleSpectrum also said it retained Merrill Lynch to help raise money for the expansion of E-Satisfy, which will have offices in Washington, DC, London and California. Also, Telespectrum said it would invest about $20 million this year in ChannelCare, its inbound customer service unit.
