TeleSpectrum Names New President/CEO

Teleservices provider TeleSpectrum, King of Prussia, PA, named Michael Shrader as its new president and CEO, the company said last week.

In a statement, Shrader said TeleSpectrum would increase its focus on existing clients. In the past two quarters, TeleSpectrum's revenue from existing clients has increased, he said.

The company also will seek new markets in which to expand, he said.

Before joining TeleSpectrum, Shrader was senior vice president of Capital One, McLean, VA. There, he was responsible for developing integrated marketing and operations sales campaigns.

Shrader was vice chairman of the Direct Marketing Association teleservices committee from 1997 to 1999. Prior to Capital One, Shrader was an executive at Gateway, Poway, CA; and Sprint, Overland Park, KS; where he worked with inbound and outbound applications.
