Talkway Licenses Media Service to Internet Marketing Firms

Talkway Communications yesterday said it has licensed its MarketingTalk rich media service to Internet marketing firms 24/7 Media, Digital Impact Inc. and Xchange Inc.

The deal is expected to help the firms beef up their e-mail marketing services by adding audio and video. Talkway estimates that the agreement will extend the reach of its rich media services into 4.8 billion e-mail messages annually.

MarketingTalk gives Internet marketers both front- and back-end solutions, including media player technology, hosting, distribution, encoding and data analysis. Talkway claims it can convert any video content into Web-enabled streaming content.

The company tracks the number of recipients that view its rich e-mails and provides Internet marketers with tracking reports and campaign analysis.
