Taction Expands Teleservices Contract With Lighthouse

Teleservices agency Taction has expanded its agreement to provide inbound teleservices for Lighthouse International, a nonprofit organization that assists the visually impaired.


Taction, Waldoboro, ME, said yesterday it is now handling the majority of customer telephone orders from The Lighthouse Catalog, which contains products for people with vision impairments. The teleservices agency said it is maintaining round-the-clock teleservices support for the catalog with its team of specially trained telephone agents.


Taction began doing business with Lighthouse International earlier this year. The agency has a single call center and is Maine's first independent teleservices company, with 200 year-round and seasonal employees.
