System Quickens PC Start-Up

eSynch Corp. yesterday announced a free online service for Windows/NT users that expedites computer start-up because the system limits the number of applications that open.

The software firm said that most programs start automatically when a computer is turned on, and that restricting the number of those systems saves users time and opens up hard-drive memory. eSynch, Tustin, CA, has released the downloadable system at www.startupmgr.com and was expected to release a desktop version to be available for $9.95 at the end of of this week.
