SUMmedia.com Prepares E-Coupons for Handheld Devices
SUMmedia.com Inc., a provider of e-business solutions through its e-coupon portal, savingumoney.com, will introduce an e-coupon application for handheld devices in the fall, the company said yesterday.SUMmedia's new application is for personal digital assistants. It allows consumers to hot-sync to their personal computers and download coupons from savingumoney.com. The coupons can be carried with them wherever they go and can be called up when they are ready to make a purchase.
The application will be available to the first market area in Seattle this fall, and enrollment forms giving merchants an opportunity to offer PDA-enabled e-coupons will be available at the end of this month.
