Style.com Tries on Summer Retail Channel

Style.com, the retail site for CondeNet Inc., yesterday opened its online summer store dedicated to seasonal fashion products ranging from sunscreen for $21 to sunglasses for $420.

Summer-wear versions of everyday accessories such as handbags, jewelry and makeup also will be available. The store features products selected by editors at Vogue and W magazines, which belong to CondeNet's parent firm, Advance Publications, New York.

Via its partnership with Neiman Marcus, Style.com targets readers of Vogue and W with upscale brands, including Laura Mercier, Versace and Helmut Lang.

During the past year, the Internet sites for Vogue and W were tucked into Style.com, which includes editorial content from the magazines.
