StayinFront Buys Australian CRM Business

CRM software and services vendor StayinFront, Fairfield, NJ, said yesterday that it acquired the CRM division of Berger Software Pty Ltd., a privately held company with offices in Sydney and Melbourne, Australia.


Berger focuses on logistics, CRM and e-commerce, but the acquisition is limited to the CRM division. Berger's CRM customers include healthcare and pharmaceutical leaders such as GlaxoSmithKline, Elanco Animal Health, Roche, Alphapharm and Hexal.


Berger's CRM division services and supports StayinFront's products, which include Visual Elk, an enterprise-wide solution for managing and integrating all points of customer interaction; Pocket Elk, the Windows CE-based version of Visual Elk; and Panorama, a data analysis and decision support tool.
