SRDS is scheduled to announce the launch today of an upgraded version of its DirectNet online list research tool for brokers, managers and mailers.

The firm expects to shift all of its clients to the new system by the end of the week and will demonstrate its features starting Oct. 12 at the Direct Marketing Association's Annual Conference & Exhibition in Orlando, FL.

"It's a whole new interface and look with several new functionalities," said Bradley D. Raczka, product manager for DirectNet at SRDS. New features include a more advanced keyword search function and a more user-friendly interface, he said.

The DirectNet system contains more than 45,000 active lists.

SRDS, Chicago, is a unit of global media firm VNU, which is headquartered in the Netherlands.
