Sports Authority taps Allurent for e-commerce boost

The Sports Authority has selected Allurent's on-demand technology to boost its e-commerce capabilities. The sports apparel brand is looking to the software-as-a-service company's product to help bolster its presence on SportsAuthority.com as well as various social media and affiliate sites.

“Sports Authority knew of our presence in the industry,” explained Graeme Grant, CEO of Allurent. “We had put out a case study on work we did with Reebok and that caught their eye and that started the talks.”

Strategy and timing are still being discussed, Grant said, but work is expected to be rolled out in the next few months.
