Spiegel Loses $38M in Latest 4-Week Period

Spiegel Inc. recorded a net loss from operations of $38.67 million for the period from July 27 to Aug. 23, according to the company's monthly operating report filed yesterday with the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of New York in connection with its reorganization.


According to the report, Spiegel had net sales of $104.38 million with "other revenue" of $9.87 million.
