Spectrum, ACC Strike Cross-Marketing Deal

Spectrum Wireless, a developer of wireless IP routers, has formed a cooperative marketing agreement with Automated Control Concepts, a provider of automation and information technology solutions for manufacturing firms.

As part of the agreement, Bellevue, WA-based Spectrum will jointly market its wireless IP routing products with ACC. Other activities will include representation of each company's products by sales force representatives, joint exhibitions at trade shows, banner ads and Web sites.

Next week at the Interphex Show, one of the largest exhibitions and conferences devoted to pharmaceutical and manufacturing firms, Spectrum will showcase its products at Automated's booth and will provide broadband access for the convention in order to connect the trade show booths on the floor.

"Our partnership with Spectrum allows us to rapidly deploy a highly reliable broadband infrastructure for our network-based applications where traditional cabling is not practical or cost effective," said Michael Bleechman, president of ACC, Neptune, NJ,.
