Specialists Marketing to acquire NRL Direct

List expert Specialists Marketing Services Inc. will acquire NRL Direct, a 19-year-old company in the same industry.

Effective July 2, the acquisition will give Specialists Marketing access to NRL clients such as Aspen Publishers, CCH, Comfort Corner, Drs. Foster & Smith, Fabulous Furs, Frontgate, Johnston & Murphy, Lifeline Screening, Weider History Group, Herrington, Disc Makers, Improvements and Jameco Manufacturing.

The NRL team, headed by president and owner Steve Bogner, will work out of Specialists Marketing's Weehawken, NJ, office.

Specialists Marketing offers list brokerage and management services as well as other direct marketing offerings. Clients include ad:tech, BMG Columbia House, Playboy magazine, Williams-Sonoma Inc., Intuit, Crate & Barrel, Meredith Corp., Oxmoor House, J. Crew, Reader's Digest, Rodale, Scholastic at Home, Godiva and Oracle.
