Since 2004, Big Fuel has helped brands navigate the world of social media and branded content. Today, Big Fuel is the largest pure-play social media agency globally -- with over 100 employees and clients that include: Samsung, H&M, Starwood, General Motors, Best Buy, Microsoft, Gore-Tex, Clorox, Children's Place, Budweiser, Philips,  T-Mobile and more.

In June 2011, Avi led Big Fuel to a successful acquisition by Publicis Groupe, one of the worlds largest advertising and media companies. Giving Big Fuel a global footprint and making it the most dominant social media agency worldwide.

In addition to being President of the Cannes Lions Branded Content Jury and board member of the Social Media Advertising Consortium (SMAC), Avi is an adviser to several non-profit's, including: UJA Federation and Grameen America. He is also an active investor and adviser to several media and technology companies, including: Project Decor, Wendr, Promoboxx, Proclivity Media, Urban Interns, CMP.LY, Hyphen Lab, DietBet, among others.

Prior to founding Big Fuel, Avi was a television producer -- creating and developing breakthrough entertainment programming for MTV, VH1, ABC, Showtime, Fox, USA, and more.

Avi was born in Israel, raised in LA and has lived all over the world. He's a BU alum who loves music, movies, golf, travel and photography. Avi currently live in NYC with his beautiful wife Leigh and amazing daughter Evie.

Ashley Johnston, SVP, Global Marketing, Experian Marketing Services

Ashley Johnston, Senior Vice President of Global Marketing for Experian Marketing Services, brings over 15 years of experience across a variety of marketing disciplines. Ashley is obsessed with finding ways to bring brands and consumers closer together and leverages her passion for people, fun and innovation to make this a reality. As the primary advocate and brand steward for Experian Marketing Services she takes great pride in maintaining a strong community across the client base, challenging status quo while keeping customers at the center of everything the company does.

Sumant Yerramilly, Co-founder, Coffee Match, VP, Platform Business at Compass Labs

Before becoming one of the pioneering members of the Compass Labs team, he was the co-founder and CEO of Amp Idea. Chosen as a member of the exclusive TechStars program in Boston and a winner of the Direct Marketing News' 40 Under 40 Awards, Sumant is recognized as a talented thought-leader in the marketing industry. He graduated from the University of Illinois at Urbana Champaign with a degree in finance.

Mike Volpe, CMO, HubSpot

Mike Volpe joined HubSpot in early 2007 as the company's fifth employee and currently serves as chief marketing officer. He heads HubSpot's lead generation and branding strategy through inbound marketing, including blogging, search engine optimization, video marketing, and social media. Since Mike joined HubSpot, the company has grown from 10 to 9,000 customers, expanded from 5 to 500 employees, and raised $100 million in venture capital.  Under Mike's leadership, HubSpot's marketing has won more than 30 marketing awards and has been featured in over 20 marketing and business books.  Mike hosts a weekly marketing video podcast called Marketing Update, is one of the 100 most popular marketers on Twitter, consistently blogs on blog.hubspot.com, and appears as amarketing speaker at industry conferences.  He has also guest lectured at Harvard Business School, Babson College, Carnegie Mellon, TCU, Boston University, and MIT Sloan School of Management and has written for numerous blogs as well as Harvard Business Review.

Mike is an MBA graduate of the MIT Sloan School of Management and received his BA in Economics and Government, summa cum laude, from Bowdoin College. He is a former director of the alumni fund at Bowdoin College and a co-founder and former director of the Boston Scholars Program, a Boston volunteer organization. At MIT, Mike won the Patrick McGovern award for his contributions to entrepreneurship and the Peterson merit scholarship for his contributions to the community and academic performance.  He used to be an avid golfer, enjoyed playing recreational ice hockey and worked on home improvement projects. He lives right outside Boston with his wife and 2 sons.
