Bill Connard,Senior Director of Product and Business Development, Rio SEO


Bill Connard serves as the Senior Director of Product and Business Development at Rio SEO, the standalone software unit spun-off recently by San Diego-based Covario, Inc. to offer SaaS-based automation solutions for SEO and social media marketing to both in-house digital markets and to search practitioners at digital agencies.


He was the founder and CEO of Top Local Search, Inc., of San Diego, which was acquired by Rio SEO in May.


Bill is a serial entrepreneur and successful business executive with expertise in database management, search engine optimization, and web site programming. He has many years of experience building and developing multi-location distribution channels and partnerships.


Prior to forming Top Local Search, Bill was a co-founder and systems architect for Hero Industries, another San Diego-based firm that provided location-based services leveraging SEO and SaaS technologies.


In 2002, Bill founded a digital content replication and distribution business with a nationwide dealer channel of more than 3,000 U.S. and 450 Canadian retailers.


In 1999, he founded NicheStuff.com, which specialized in providing mini-CD and DVD business cards. Using advanced SEO strategies, Bill rapidly built a nationwide service. Customers included American Express, Sony and Visa.


Bill is a mentor and sponsor to a small number of San Diego-based Internet start- ups, where his experience in local search engine optimization, business acumen, problem solving, and process vision is invaluable.


Paul Bruemmer,

Bruemmer is managing partner for a full-service consulting company based in Carlsbad, California. He joined MBS from 1800flowers.com, where he served as vice president, enterprise customer knowledge management—transforming 1800flowers.com's marketing database operations into a strategic asset leveraged across the organization for market research, financial planning, business analytics, customer insights, and CRM. His previous experience includes 14 years at JP Morgan Chase Bank and its predecessors, where he rose to vice president, regional consumer services.



 Dan Putler, Data Artisan in Residence, Alteryx

Dan Putler has 30 years of experience in developing predictive analytics models for companies and organizations that cover a large number of industry verticals, ranging from the performing arts to B2B financial services. He is co-author of the book Customer and Business Analytics: Applied Data Mining for Business Decision Making Using R, which was published in May by Chapman and Hall / CRC Press. Prior to joining Alteryx, Dan was a professor of marketing and marketing research at the University of British Columbia's Sauder School of Business.


 Jason Stewart, Director, Marketing, Demandbase

Jason Stewart leads demand generation programs for Demandbase and is a recognized marketing technologist and thought leader in the B2B lead generation and lead management space. He founded and leads the Salesforce.com user group in San Francisco and was one of the first 500 people to complete the Salesforce.com Certified Administrator process. He has spent 12 years in B2B telesales, demand generation, lead management and marketing operations with a variety of public and privately held software companies. He earned his BA in English from Rutgers University.


 Deepa Krishnan, Sr. Dir. Platform Strategy and Development, Demandbase

Deepa heads up platform strategy and development for Demandbase, with a focus on product and business development of the Demandbase Data Management Platform. She joined Demandbase in February from salesforce.com, where she ran business development for Data.com. Before salesforce, Deepa served in a general counsel role at Data.com, helping lead the company through its M&A with salesforce for $175MM. Deepa holds a B.A. in Public Policy from the Woodrow Wilson School at Princeton University, and a J.D. in Business Law from UCLA.
