Bill Connard serves as the Senior Director of Product and Business Development at Rio SEO, the standalone software unit spun-off recently by San Diego-based Covario, Inc. to offer SaaS-based automation solutions for SEO and social media marketing to both in-house digital markets and to search practitioners at digital agencies.
He was the founder and CEO of Top Local Search, Inc., of San Diego, which was acquired by Rio SEO in May.
Bill is a serial entrepreneur and successful business executive with expertise in database management, search engine optimization, and web site programming. He has many years of experience building and developing multi-location distribution channels and partnerships.
Prior to forming Top Local Search, Bill was a co-founder and systems architect for Hero Industries, another San Diego-based firm that provided location-based services leveraging SEO and SaaS technologies.
In 2002, Bill founded a digital content replication and distribution business with a nationwide dealer channel of more than 3,000 U.S. and 450 Canadian retailers.
In 1999, he founded NicheStuff.com, which specialized in providing mini-CD and DVD business cards. Using advanced SEO strategies, Bill rapidly built a nationwide service. Customers included American Express, Sony and Visa.
Bill is a mentor and sponsor to a small number of San Diego-based Internet start- ups, where his experience in local search engine optimization, business acumen, problem solving, and process vision is invaluable.
