Southwestern Chooses Plaut to Implement System

Southwestern/Great American Inc., a direct sales company composed of five divisions, announced Jan. 14 that it has selected Plaut Consulting Inc. as its consulting partner in instituting the SAP R/3 integrated business application solution. Plaut will implement five R/3 modules -- financial accounting, controlling, materials management, sales and distribution and executive information systems -- and then train Southwestern staff members to operate them. Southwestern's divisions include Southwestern Co., a door-to-door direct marketing firm; Heritage House Inc., a direct mail company; and Great American Opportunities Inc., a fundraising and school services company.
