Sony Online Contracts With Retailers
Sony Online Entertainment, New York, announced that it signed marketing agreements with 18 retailers who will be advertising on Sony's entertainment-related sites including Station@sony.com, Sony Pictures Entertainment Online and Sony Music Online. Sony Online Entertainment will help them set up and conduct integrated traffic generation, customer acquisition and branding campaigns. The campaigns will involve customized and integrated content sponsorships and banner ads.
Among those taking part are American Express, Ford Motor Company, U.S. Satellite Broadcasting and Lego as well as Internet companies like CDNow, Netscape, Rolling Stone Network and America Online/CompuServe.
