Sony Expands Network of Online Advertisers

Sony Online Entertainment, New York, yesterday announced it has acquired 11 new advertisers for its network of entertainment Web sites.


It has signed Citibank, Entertainment Weekly magazine; General Motor's Oldsmobile and GMC Truck divisions; Gillette, J.C. Penney, MGM, Pepsi and Showtime Networks as well as technology and Internet companies such as GT Interactive Software and Intel.


Kelloggs, a charter Station advertiser, has also signed on for a network buy. Advertisements from the new partners will appear across a range of the sites on Sony Online Entertainment's network which include The Station@sony.com, Sony Pictures Entertainment Online and Sony Music Online.
