Software Built to Recruit Truckers Online

TMI-Multimedia and Eactive last week began offering software designed to help trucking firms use the Web to recruit drivers.

The software will let firms send e-mails containing text, html links and audio/video files. The video files are embedded in the e-mail and can be opened by users with Media Player applications. This feature allows trucking firms to offer presentations to the prospective employees. The html links can take viewers to Web pages with photos and information about open jobs and their duties.

TMI, Denver, and Eactive, Delray Beach, FL, believe the e-mails can be used as viral marketing devices for trucker recruiting.
