Socketware Announces Partnerships, Trade-Up Program
Socketware, Atlanta, is a provider of Internet messaging services. RightNow Technologies, based in Bozeman, MT, will integrate Socketware's Accucast software with its Web-based customer service support services. The company offers automated, online customer service as well as online surveys, data analysis and marketing.
According to Michael Pridemore, Socketware's CEO, the partnership will let Socketware expand its role in e-mail messaging.
"This deal aids us in expanding the role of outbound e-mail," he said. "Outbound e-mail can be a very powerful tool for customer service."
Socketware also said Cyber Dialogue will use its Accucast software as the primary engine for its e-mail marketing and campaign management services. CyberDialogue provides the Arc 360 analytical platform, which integrates online and offline data into a centralized database for easy segmentation.
The partnership will allow Cyber Dialogue to integrate Socketware's Accucast software with its Arc 360 platform and provide its clients with data analysis, data mining, return-on-investment tracking and customized content for targeted e-mail.
In addition, Socketware said it would offer a trade-up plan to new customers who switch from a competitor. New customers who sign up to use Socketware's Accucast Enterprise software will receive a 20 percent discount. For customers who sign up to use its Accucast Accelerator Web-hosted targeted e-mail software, Socketware is offering either 60 days free or 100,000 free messages.
