Social analytics company Marketwired recently announced a partnership with Tumblr.

Marketwired has announced the integration of the full set of Tumblr data into its social data platform. The communications technology and social analytics company aims to provide its marketer clients real-time with access to social network Tumblr's extensive data.

The new partnership enhances Marketwired's Sysomos-powered social analytics program and aims to empower marketers by providing insight into Tumblr's social networking and blog content. Users create about 80 million posts per day, according to a Marketwired release. Access to the Tumblr firehose of data for Marketwired customers will be made possible via a newly signed partnership with Gnip.

“The wealth of information from this partnership will provide marketers with unlimited insights and perspective that will better inform their actions and marketing decisions,” Jim Delaney, CEO of Marketwired, said in a press release. “Through the integration of Tumblr data we are continuing...our commitment to providing the most comprehensive social intelligence and data capabilities for our Enterprise clients.”
