Chatter Isn't All Positive on Snapchat Ads
The prospect of advertising on the messaging app intrigues some, annoys others.
Lo' and behold, The Wall Street Journal reported Tuesday that popular messaging app Snapchat has been courting advertisers and media companies for weeks, with the aim of launching a new service that will deliver ads and other content to Snapchat's 27 million users. The Web has been a storm of conversation and speculation since.
The service, called Snapchat Discovery, will launch in November and aims to serve users ads, news, TV clips, and other content, according to The Wall Street Journal.

Though some level of excitement clearly exists, many seem perturbed by the prospect of ads on the disappearing message platform.
