Amazon sent out a press release made up entirely of tweets

Isn't this getting a little ridiculous?

For its new Kindle Fire HD, Amazon sent out a press release made up of bite-sized tweets, designed to be easily copied and spread. Or maybe it was just a clever marketing gimmick, giving reading averse people  the best features of the product in digestible chunks. Which makes me feel slightly stupid.

Innovative idea or just plain silly?
