SmileFinder.com Helps Users Find Dentist
Izyx Inc., a Web-based firm that serves the dental industry, has launched an Internet site that serves as an information library on 170,000 dental offices in the United States and Canada.The site, SmileFinder.com, will target consumers with its search engine that selects dentists according to users' needs and geographic location.
SmileFinder.com also will allow viewers to investigate a dentist's educational history and professional honors as well as learn what payment methods and insurance plans are accepted. Also available will be office hours for each dentist and maps to the offices.
Izyx, Los Angeles, said dentists can be listed at its Web site without buying ad space or becoming a registered member. In the coming months, SmileFinder.com will debut online business and support services tailored to the dental community.
