SmartMail to Expedite Domestic Deliveries for DPGM
SmartMail Services, an expediter of flat-sized mail and lightweight parcels, begins expediting domestic deliveries for Deutsche Post Global Mail later this month.The agreement lets DPGM offer a broader range of services and expands SmartMail's geographic reach. Deutsche Post Global Mail is the U.S. subsidiary of Deutsche Post World Net.
Through a workshare partnership with the U.S. Postal Service, SmartMail collects, processes, sorts, tracks and expedites the delivery of flat-sized mail and lightweight parcels. After packages are received and processed at one of the company's 12 facilities, they are flown overnight to a Destination Postal Facility and injected deep into the postal stream to meet expedited delivery commitments.
