SmartDM Lands Deal With Sports Teams

SmartDM, Nashville, TN, announced a contract yesterday with Kroenke Sports Enterprises, owner of the Colorado Avalanche and Denver Nuggets, to perform data management, data analytics and e-mail marketing.


Kroenke will use SmartDM's proprietary campaign management system, DirectTR@K, to manage current and prospective customer data, conduct targeted e-mail marketing campaigns and provide analytic services to help leverage customer data to improve profitability for all operations.


SmartDM and DirectTR@K will "help us plan and execute smart direct marketing campaigns to help us sell more tickets," said Haynes Hendrickson, director, direct response marketing at Kroenke.


The Avalanche and Nuggets are a key addition to SmartDM's growing portfolio of sports clients, which include the National Hockey League's Nashville Predators and Columbus Blue Jackets.
