SkyMall Site to Target Frequent Fliers

SkyMall, Phoenix, expects its new travel Web site www.skymalltravel.com, which is going to target frequent fliers, will launch in July. The site will offer travelers direct access to a selection of major airlines and other booking services.


Those services will include: Frequent Flyer Services, a personalized Web-based consolidated statement of all frequent flier programs and tips; myfamily.com, a service allowing travelers to stay in touch with their families while traveling; TRIP.com, which is intended to make booking and flying easier by automatically searching and comparing fares and tracking real-time flight information; MapQuest will provide door-to-door driving directions; and ontheroad.com will provide travelers with a select up-to-date list of the top business events and best restaurants and sporting events in a particular city.
